- Next Training session is at Berwick on Sunday 14th June starting at 9.30am.
- Senior DBA team are 2nd on the Ladder after four games. They have won two and lost two.
- Round 7 Results and Ladders have been posted
- Tryouts for the 2009 Under 12 DBA representative team will be held with training sessions as follows:
Wednesday 10th June 2009 at Sandringham Baseball Club starting at 5:30pm (they have lights at Sandy so light will not be an issue); and
Sunday 14th June 2009 at Dingley Baseball Club starting at 1:30pm.
Catchers are advised to bring their own gear.
To qualify for this side you need to be under 12 as of 1st May 2009. The reason they are doing it this way is because the winner of the VPBL Carnival will be included in the Little League Championships to be held in 2010, so they need to make sure the boys and girls that represent the DBA are still illegible for the Championships next year.
Barry Fisher has been appointed Under 12 DBA coach for 2009.

Eligibility of players. Age qualifications.
A. A player is eligible to take part in any match in the respective age groupings provided they are under the age of 14, 16 or 18 years on the 31st
December in the year of competition and for Little League under the age of 12 as at 1st May in the year of competition.
B. No player may participate in the Little League competition until they attain their nineth birthday.
So any player is Turning 12 after the 1st of May is eligable to tryout.
